The wait is finally over. The state government has finally started the renovation work at the bus stop of Rudrapur. While this has led to inconvenience to the day to day passengers, as the buses are stopping on the highway and there is no proper makeshift arrangement for the presently under renovation bus stop, the long term results are definitely going to be fruitful for the city, which has been struggling to cop up with the population burst that it has witnessed in last few years.

It has been a long time since Rudrapur has seen a drastic change in itself. Let’s assess it on different parameters and see where we stand as a city today
Job Opportunities
Why I am starting with this is because this is what keeps our daily bread and better going. The city has grown tremendously in providing job opportunities to all sectors of public and has become a known name in the state as a hub for employment opportunities.

A delay in delivery of food led to an employee of KMVN Restaurnat being shot at by Praveen Chaudhary and his accomplice in rudrapur. The incident happened in the evening and a local made pistol was used for this crime.
The criminals are absconding and a hunt has been launched by local police to nab them and get them behind bars. There have been other instances of shooting reported in the city for trivial matters related to land dispute, etc. The growing rage amongst the public and usage of life threatening weapons for small disputes is seen as a sign of growing level of intolerance in today's public, which if not properly tackled might challenge the security of common man in this city.

This definitely comes as good news for the district that is in dire need of growth. The state government has approved a fund of Rs. 1.22 CR for the district based on the proposal that was sent by local BJP Leaders.
The money allocated will be used for development in Mandi, build drainage systems in shanti vihar, renovation of road in bhrarani and for other development purposes. The move is going to definitely improve BJP's image in this district, which is usually seen as a congress stronghold.

Next time you see a Tractor on road - Run for your Life!!!

In the past we have had so many instances of accidents involving tractor and trollies and the latest to add to this list is another accident, where a speeding tractor killed two kids, who were on their way to tuitions.
The city and its vicinity have been having a harrowing time with these tractors and trollies. The situation has been worsening all these years and with SIDCUL's growth, it just went from bad to worse.
The biggest problem with these tractor trollies is that they over speed inside residential areas without taking into consideration the population which stay in that area. Furthermore, none of these vehicles have a proper backlight or they are overloaded, which lead to their imbalance on the road.
