In the past we have had so many instances of accidents involving tractor and trollies and the latest to add to this list is another accident, where a speeding tractor killed two kids, who were on their way to tuitions.
The city and its vicinity have been having a harrowing time with these tractors and trollies. The situation has been worsening all these years and with SIDCUL's growth, it just went from bad to worse.
The biggest problem with these tractor trollies is that they over speed inside residential areas without taking into consideration the population which stay in that area. Furthermore, none of these vehicles have a proper backlight or they are overloaded, which lead to their imbalance on the road.
Incidentally the government authorities have been turning a blind eye to this problem for too long and while they are busy checking two wheeler riders, these tractor drivers have been roaming around breaking all traffic rules in and around the city.
A proper mechanism put in place, where a hefty fine or detention of vehicle is done for improper documents or negligence while driving these vehicles can definitely improve the current scenario and we just might feel safe driving on these roads.

it is quite true here.. Earlier, people used to refer to tractors as Indian mercedes here ;) Hope things are looked upon and they get a separate road division for their road rage..
